Wisconsin needed to curb out-of-control benefit costs in the public sector. Governor Walker ended the practice of public sector union bosses strong-arming politicians for exorbitant benefits and absurd contract concessions.
Through Governor Walker’s efforts, the unemployment rate in Wisconsin has dropped a full percentage point, school districts that were facing bankruptcy now have budget surpluses and Wisconsin's economy is getting back on track.
